The concept for this design was to set each scene in a different decade corresponding to the evolution of feminism, showing how women are still fighting the same the fight against misogyny that they’ve always been. In this promenade performance, each scene appears out of the darkness and debris in the room until the final scene where the audience is caught in the epicenter of a riot. Live broadcasts of the performance shown on screens around the space provide a journalistic feel while maintaining a good view of the action to all.
