Written by Bruntwood Prize-winner Tim Foley, this fast-paced satire
follows a university dean who mistakes Jurassic Park for a real
documentary, triggering mass redundancies, student protests, and
bizarre conspiracies. What starts as an awkward disagreement
between Jay, a liberal palaeontologist, and Dean, “The Dean” quickly
spirals into a chaotic fight for academic survival.
Through farcical storytelling and bold, inventive design, the
production moves from realism into a surreal, high-stakes world
mirroring the disorienting nature of modern misinformation. The
play tackles everything from fake news and deepfakes to the rise of
radicalised reasoning and the institutional failures that let it thrive.
