When the cultural services team are cleaning out a cupboard they find some long lost props, costumes and stories with some colourful characters, and let themselves be kids again as they take on the roles of A Cheeky Chicken Nugget & an Evil Burger, a Frog who needs to find his funk, a Zombie who loves Christmas, a dinosaur who wants a makeover, a Lollypop who loves Taylor swift, and a talking toaster!

Royal Exchange Theatre have been collaborating with primary schools across Tameside: Bradley Green Primary Academy, Micklehurst All Saints Primary School, St. Paul’s CE Primary School and St. Peter’s Catholic Primary, to write 4 short plays with writers Lekhani Chirwa and Lauren-Nicole Mayes.

Each play has been created from the themes of JOY and SURPRISE and are sure to wow audiences whether you are 8 or 80!
